Plastiglas de México S.A. de C.V., a company from Unigel group, is the North-American leader in the market of cell-cast acrylic sheets, with majority interest in Mexico, USA and Canada. Since 1959, Plastiglas is dedicated to the production of acrylic sheets using the cell-cast process, with the largest facilities in America. It is also the main distributor of world known brands of plastic and chemical laminates from Mexico.
Plastiglas used to count on SAP software. By instruction of Unigel group, which used TOTVS ERP solution in all its plants, the migration to TOTVS ERP software had to be performed in 3 months. Another important issue was to integrate the ERP with an Advanced Production System that could provide a better response time to its customers.
